Flowering Shrubs, Trees & Vines

To respond to the requests of our customer base, we have recently added fresh clippings from the farm. Farm foliage and greens including olives, oak branches with acorns, rose hips, pomegranate, crab apple, and of course the fabulous clematis seed heads are delivered weekly to the San Francisco Flower Market.

The cut flowers grown at Chalk Hill are sold exclusively to floral designers and the trade. For more information, contact the farm at 707-433-8416 or email: farmmgr@chalkhillclematis.

We sell a variety of specialty cut Clematis. Our season begins late April and continues through October, depending on the weather.

CHC Farm offers a weekly availability email with photographs of Clematis available that week. Click here to be included.

Colors available are: blue, purple, mauve, red, pink, lavender and white.

Colors and varieties are shipped based on what we have coming in from the fields each week. The bloom cycle of the various varieties and weather are factors that determine availability. We can usually predict within a few weeks what varieties and amounts will be available on a particular date.

The stem length is about 15-18 inches with one flower per stem.

Clematis’ are an excellent vase flower, and will usually last 7-10 days after receiving them. They are best used in fresh water, not oasis.

10-18 stems come per bunch, depending on the variety, size, and display of the flowers.

For pricing information and availability, contact the office at 707-433-8416 or email us at farmmgr@chalkhillclematis.com.

We ship our flowers Fed Ex Priority Overnight. A small box of (10-15) bunches usually will cost approximately $65 to ship. Larger boxes (15-30) bunches will cost approximately $100 to ship.

We love our bees and our flowers and they co-habitate in an eco-friendly environment here on the farm.
