Mary Toomey Garden
This garden was designed and developed in collaboration with Mary Toomey and is a tribute to her incredible dedication, tireless efforts and contributions over many years in many countries, writing, lecturing and broadcasting about clematis. The garden is at the back of the property and consists of a large pergola and planted with roses, clematis and five individual gardens each with a different theme. This includes an 80 ft. long perennial bed featuring a variety of herbaceous clematis. We hope the garden will be both inspirational and provide greater insight in understanding the many ways clematis can be used in the garden.
